The Hardest Part Isn’t Starting, It’s Deciding
A conversation you might need before you waste another 6 months.
How much longer are you willing to wait for the life you keep saying you want?
It’s June 1st.
Half the year is almost behind us.
And if you're being honest, maybe you’ve spent most of it just trying to stay on top of everything, managing the day-to-day, keeping it all together, doing your best not to fall behind.
You survived the first half.
You got through it.
But did you actually move closer to the life you want?
If not, you’re not out of time.
But time will keep moving whether you do or not.
This is where most people quietly stay stuck:
Waiting.
Hesitating.
Telling themselves that more time will make it easier to finally start.
But it won’t.
The longer you wait, the heavier it feels to move.
Shrinking your dreams doesn’t protect you.
It just makes you invisible.
And being invisible has a cost.
Every time you hold yourself back, you quietly say no to opportunities that were already yours.
Someone out there is waiting for the thing only you can create.
But they’ll never find it if you keep hiding.
I know this feeling because I lived it.
Fussh lived in my notes for years, something I kept thinking about but kept postponing.
A year ago, the idea got louder. It needed to exist.
I once heard: ideas have momentum. If you don’t move, they’ll find someone else who will. That stayed with me.
Then came Taurus season, my birthday month and after months of circling around it, I finally decided:
If not now, then when? If not me, then who?
Still, I was scared.
Scared of being seen.
Scared of failing in public.
Scared of pressing "publish" and realizing I wasn't as ready as I wanted to be.
Later I realized:
The weight wasn’t in the work.
The weight was in the waiting.
The moment I finally pressed "publish," everything shifted.
I had finally stopped carrying the heaviness of hesitation.
The world kept turning.
But I felt lighter, because I was finally moving.
Fast forward to today: Fussh exists.
And honestly, it still feels like a pinch-me moment every time someone new finds it.
People are figuring things out, just like I am.
And now they’re joining this community I once only imagined.
I even had my first paid subscriber this week. (Domika, I’m so grateful for you).
Something my old self couldn’t have imagined.
The hardest part was never starting.
The hardest part was deciding.
The next step isn’t always about having the perfect plan.
Sometimes, the most important thing you can build first is you.
If you don’t know what to pursue, pursue yourself.
Become the strongest version of you.
The version with energy and confidence.
The version who feels good in her body.
Who protects her peace.
Who gains knowledges.
Who grows her income.
Who learns how to take care of herself on every level: physically, financially, emotionally.
Becoming is also building.

There’s a version of your life you haven’t lived yet.
A version where you wake up excited, not just relieved to have made it through another day.
A version where your work feels meaningful.
Your time feels yours.
Your energy goes to what actually lights you up.
You don’t need more time.
You don’t need another new year.
You need a decision, the kind you make quietly, and then back up loudly.
This is your invitation.
To dream bigger.
To move differently.
To start before you feel ready.
The next six months are wide open.
You don’t need perfect timing.
You need movement.
Start small.
Start scared.
Start messy.
But start.
Every small step you take pulls you closer.
Every moment you choose yourself builds proof that you can trust your own path.
The clarity will come.
The confidence will grow.
But only if you move first.
Because nothing changes if nothing changes
Let this be the moment you stopped waiting.
Let this be the season you finally chose yourself.
And let everything after today be proof that you were always capable of more than you thought.
Let’s go.
With love,
Laëtitia
